In this post, I consider the game Puerto Rico as a counterexample to Bernard Suits' definition of
game. This, finally, is the example that got me started blogging on the subject in the first place. For previous posts, see

In the last couple of posts, I've been considering Suits' requirement that a game have a
prelusory goal - an objective that can be specified independently of the rules of the game.
